Samara met some of her favorite animals at the park today. This was her first trip to this playground, and she was delighted to kiss a dinosaur, hug a camel's neck, and ride on a lion's back. Her friend Bela met us there, and it was so funny to see the girls holding hands on the way back to our cars. When it was time to go, they gave each other several hugs and kisses, as if they weren't going to see each other again in a long time. Bela's dad is also in the Army, and her mom and I have become good friends through our MOPS group.
