Basic Combat Training Graduation

Well, we made it! Todd is finished with BCT, and now off to Warrant Officer Candidate School (WOCS). He was able to come home with us after graduation for the weekend, and we had a wonderful time having him here with us. We of course had to eat a lot of great food, which included two fishfries with freshly caught grouper one night, and fresh mullet and shrimp the next night, with cheese grits and hushpuppies and sweet tea :0) (I know you northerners won't appreciate these gourmet meals... :0) Todd was glad to be able to take his time and enjoy his food, instead of scarfing it down, and also to be able to go back for seconds...thirds.... At WOCS he has been honored with the position of Assistant Dining Facility Officer, which means that instead of having 15 min. to eat his meals, he has 6! That's right, 6 min. a meal for b'fast, lunch and supper for the next 6 weeks.
For Family Day the soldiers wore their Class A Uniforms, and for grad. their Army Combat Uniforms (ACUs) Doesn't he look handsome?!
