A Thanksgiving Lesson

My mom did a little Thanksgiving "lesson" with the girls, and they used lincoln logs to build the commonhouse and other Pilgrim houses, and also learned about the two babies who were born on the voyage over, Peregrin and Oceanus. So for two days the girls took care of their 'baby Peregrin' and 'baby Oceanus'. It was quite funny to hear them talking to each other about their babies.

Cutting little blankets for some very tiny babies they put in their log houses... (thank you Jan and Aunt Susanna for the large collection of Lincoln Logs we now have!)
The big paper was a 'timeline' of sorts, starting in Europe, crossing the Atlantic on rough seas (Samara drew the big waves) and in stormy weather (Hannah made the storm clouds) and finally reaching Cape Cod.

That is a GREAT idea! So cool. Haley is sending something special to Samara - be prepared!
